WHO WE ARE
NXDATA operates two data centers in Bucharest, NXDATA-1 and NXDATA-2, while NXDATA-3, the company’s third data center, is currently under construction. Our offering is focused exclusively on providing the critical infrastructure required for colocation services and includes redundant electrical power supply and distribution, cooling systems, secure spaces for IT equipment, high-quality structured cabling, and access to one of the region’s most important ecosystems of telecommunications operators and service providers.
Our data centers are continuously monitored and operated in accordance with high technical and security standards applicable to critical infrastructure. The infrastructure includes advanced fire detection and suppression systems, redundant electrical power supply and distribution systems, UPS systems, cooling systems, backup diesel generators, and an extensive interconnection infrastructure that facilitates direct connections between customers and the service providers present within the NXDATA ecosystem.
Our independence from telecommunications operators gives customers the freedom to choose their service providers. At the same time, the interconnection ecosystem developed across NXDATA data centers provides the flexibility needed to adapt their IT infrastructure to the current and future requirements of their organization.

OPERATIONS
NXDATA-1 was the first carrier-neutral colocation center in Romania. For more than two decades, it has been one of the country’s most important interconnection points, where telecom operators, cloud providers, Internet Exchanges and organizations connect their infrastructure within an open and independent ecosystem.
Operational since 2009, NXDATA-2 complements the NXDATA ecosystem through modern and energy-efficient infrastructure. Connected to NXDATA-1 through an underground fiber-optic ring, the facility contributes to infrastructure redundancy and provides direct access to one of the most important interconnection ecosystems in Southeastern Europe.
NXDATA-3 represents the next stage in the development of the NXDATA ecosystem. Designed for enterprise, cloud, AI and other compute workloads with high power requirements, the new data center provides scalable and efficient infrastructure to meet future requirements and is connected to the same extended interconnection ecosystem.
